I guess someone decided that dogs with breathing problems and legs too small for its body are cute, so that's what we get now.  Hey at least it looks good, who cares if it is healthy, right?

Im a proud owner of a pug and although i agree that breeding pugs is cruel, why not give the existing pugs the best lives possible?

Who were we breeding them with? Anton Chigurh?

The 1880 pug (if that's accurate-there's a lot of inaccuracy/flat out lying on Buzzfeed links) looks like my pug/chihuahua mix.

Both are fugly as hell. Looks like a fat rat back then and a more sophisticated rat now.

I'm sorry, but it is the 1880 pug that looks freakish. The modern pug looks cute AND proportional.

Look like he got himself a professional haircut and a nice job.  Took him long enough.

I am nuts for pugs, they are such sweet little dogs…love them all.
