Riff 2 years agoYou guys forget that photographic technology has advanced a lot since the 60s, meaning all our “imperfections” became a lot more noticeable in photographs, hence the need to cover up all that which wasn’t nearly as noticeable as before. Not to defend Photoshopping ads, but it is, in part, a reaction to our ability to capture/emulate reality better than before. Also, I need a better example than one picture of Twiggy.
