This is NOT a pre-9/11 ad. This is what happens when you don't show the source. This was originally posted on reddit. The ad was found in India. It is quite recent, actually. It sort of annoys me when content from reddit is put on this website without citing it. :/

To those charging this ad is “fake”: CartiSafe Forte is a real drug which is indeed manufactured by Jenburkt, but if you were faking something like this, wouldn't you choose something more famous like Aleve or Cymbalta? You don't just pluck the name “CartiSafe Forte” out of thin air, after all. Had you ever heard of this drug or this company (both quite real) before seeing this ad? I'm guessing not. I hadn't. It turns out to be an Indian company founded in 1985. Also, look at the way the ad is warped and faded and how some of the ink has been ripped away by tape. None of that looks 'shopped to me. The (considerable) weather damage looks genuine. Bottom line: if this is IS a forgery, the forger did his or her homework about the pharmaceutical industry and has excellent Photoshop skills.

Don't forget about Deus Ex. Released in 2000, set in 2052, and the World Trade Center towers weren't in the New York skyline. The reason was memory limitations with the texture for the skyline, so they just cut out a bit of it. The best (worst) part about that is that the developers, while making the game, justified it by saying that years before the game takes place, the towers were destroyed by terrorists.
