Ironic bashing for the sake of feeling better about ourselves aside, this dude is the real deal. This is how it starts. You think it’s whack, then you think it’s funny, then you start to actually feel him. In the past year or so he’s blown up, thanks, in no small part, to releasing new videos on World Star Hip Hop at a rapid rate. He’s on his grind, and yeah, he dresses and acts the part. He was recently signed to Soulja Boy’s label, SODMG, for big money and then changed his name from ‘MTV Riff Raff’ to ‘Riff Raff SODMG.’ Don’t get me wrong, the humor’s a big part of his success, but before everyone ironically cannibalizes him on here, he’s a funny ass, self-deprecating dude with serious free style skills, and instead of hating on him, put ‘Larry Bird,’ ‘Lil B,’ ‘Jose Canseco,’ ‘Juice,’ ‘Cool Cup,’ ‘Magum Rapper,’ or any number of his videos and tracks on when you’re drinking and watch how fast you become a fan.
