Elephant Gets New Prosthetic Leg

Meet Motala. She lost her leg after stepping on a land mine in Thailand in 1999, but learned to walk again with a temporary prosthesis. Her keepers have just given her a new longer-lasting leg. I hope it last for ears! (Much more at The Huffington Post.) posted on September 1, 2011 at 10:16am EDT
