    14 Forgotten '90s R&B Girl Groups

    Bookended by En Vogue and Destiny's Child, and dominated by TLC, the '90s were the last great decade for girl groups.

    The New Jersey trio first came to prominence singing the hook on "Juicy," the debut single of their fellow Bad Boy Records label-mate, The Notorious B.I.G. The group went on to release two albums and guest on tracks for LL Cool J and Ma$e.

    Where are they now? After taking a hiatus throughout the '00s, two of the group's members, Pamela Long and Kima Raynor, recently reunited for a Valentine's Day radio concert in London.

    Most memorable hit: Their classic debut single, "Can't You See (Remix)," which featured The Notorious B.I.G.

    2. Zhané

    The Brooklyn duo broke out big in 1994 with their debut album, Pronounced Jah-Nay, which featured the catchy hits, "Hey Mr. D.J." and "Groove Thang."

    Where are they now? After releasing one follow-up album, 1997's Saturday Night, the group officially called it quits in 1999.

    Most memorable hit: Their dancey debut single, "Hey Mr. D.J."

    3. 702

    The trio – who were named after the area code of their hometown of Las Vegas -- are probably best remembered for their 1999 hit single "Where My Girls At?"

    Where are they now? After releasing three albums, the group broke up in 2006.

    Most memorable hit: The infectious summer jam "Where My Girls At?"

    4. MoKenStef

    The Los Angeles trio are best known for their 1995 one-hit-wonder, "He's Mine."

    Where are they now? The group broke up in 2000 after releasing only one album, 1995's Azz Izz.

    Most memorable hit: "He's Mine," which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

    5. Allure

    The New York quartet had a string of hit collaborations off their 1997 debut album, Allure, including "Head Over Heels" with Nas, "No Question" with LL Cool J, and "All Cried Out" with 112.

    Where are they now? They're still together -- although they are now a trio – but their website has not been updated since 2011.

    Most memorable hit: Their cover of Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam's "All Cried Out" was a late '90s high school slow dance staple.

    6. Blaque

    Blaque (which is an abbreviation for Believing, Life, Achieving, Quest, Unity, Everything) broke out big in the late '90s with hits like the R. Kelly-produced "808," "I Do," and "Bring It All to Me," off their self-titled debut album, Blaque.

    Where are they now? The duo released one more album, 2002's Blaque Out, before going on a temporary hiatus. Sadly in 2012, as the group was working on a comeback album, member Natina Reed died in a car accident.

    Most memorable hit: The infectious "Bring It All to Me," which featured NSYNC's JC Chasez.

    7. Kut Klose

    The Atlanta trio were discovered by R&B singer Keith Sweat, who produced their debut album, 1995's Surrender. The group also sang the hook on Sweat's 1996 hit single, "Twisted."

    Where are they now? According to the band's Twitter, which has not been updated since 2013, the original line-up is back together and working on new music.

    Most memorable hit: "I Like."

    8. Changing Faces

    The New York duo released a string of hits in the '90s, most memorably the R. Kelly-produced hit singles, "Stroke You Up" and "G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T."

    Where are they now? The group called it quits in 2000.

    Most memorable hit: The sexually charged ('cause, duh, it was written by R. Kelly), "Stroke You Up."

    9. SWV

    One of the most successful R&B groups of the '90s, SWV (an abbreviation for Sisters With Voices) had a series of huge hit singles throughout the decade, including "I'm So into You," "Weak," "Rain," "Right Here (Human Nature remix)," and "You're the One."

    Where are they now? After disbanding in 1998, the group reunited in 2005 and continue to tour.

    Most memorable hit: Tough to choose, but the Michael Jackson-sampled, "Right Here (Human Nature remix), still sounds fresh today.

    10. Jade

    The Chicago trio had several hits in the early '90s, including "I Wanna Love You," "Don't Walk Away," "One Woman," and "Every Day of the Week," (the video for "Every Day" also received constant airplay during the closing credits of Beverly Hills, 90210)

    Where are they now? After releasing two albums, the group called it quits in 1997. But, in early 2014, two of the members, Tonya Kelly and Joi Marshall, reunited and released a single.

    Most memorable hit: The catchy "Don't Walk Away."

    11. Nuttin' Nyce

    The Sacramento quartet first rose to prominence when their single "Down 4 Whateva," was featured on the soundtrack for the 1994 film A Low Down Dirty Shame.

    Where are they now? After releasing one album, 1993's Down 4 Whateva, the group disbanded in 1996.

    Most memorable hit: The grind-worthy "Frog Style."

    12. Jomanda

    The New Jersey trio first burst on the scene with their early '90s club anthems "Got a Love for You" and "Make My Body Rock." They crossed over into R&B with their second album, 1993's Nubia Soul, which also happened to be their final album.

    Where are they now? Not much information is available, but it appears the group disbanded after the death of lead vocalist Joanne Thomas, in 2003.

    Most memorable hit: Their cover of the 1982 DeBarge classic, "I Like It."

    14. Xscape

    Long before Kandi Burruss was known for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was best known as a member of Xscape. The group had a string of big hits, inculding "Just Kicking it," "Understanding," "Who Can I Run To," "Do You Want To," and "The Arms of the One Who Loves You."

    Where are they now? The original group disbanded in 2000. Along, with being a Real Houswife, Burruss is also a sucessful songwriter and producer. While her fellow band member, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, is now best known for being married to T.I. They also co-star own their own VH1 reality show, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.

    Most memorable hit: The Jermaine Dupri-produced, "Just Kicking it."
