    Moray eels are the creepiest animal ever. They have a second set of jaws (pharyngeal jaws) in the back of their throat that shoot forward to pull prey in, just like the aliens in the movie Alien.
    The craziest part is that they didn’t discover this set of jaws in moray eels until after the movie Alien came out. So people basically tried to make the creepiest alien they could by adding this fictional set of protracting jaws, and that basically turned out to be the moray eel.
