I pulled into a gas station with a flat tire and the cashier wouldn’t even give me change for the air machine unless I bought something, so I was in tears by the time I started trying to fill my tire and realized that it wouldn’t inflate. A man who had seen the whole thing got a jack out of his truck and lifted my car up so he could pop the tire back on the rim and inflate it. It was over 8 years ago now, but I still think about it sometimes and it always reminds me that there are good people in the world.
This actually isn’t a new opinion at all. Anyone who has been to law school will tell you that the third year of law school is useless. Also, in the grand scheme of things, it isn’t going to save you that much if you’ve paid for college and the first two years of law school. $125,000 in loans instead of $175,000 isn’t going to change anybody’s world.

I made this complaint about the new Nightmare on Elm Street to anyone who would listen. There was something about the original Freddy that made sense for his character. He was, after all, a pedophile. It made sense that he there would be a humorous side to him, because the assumption is that, while alive, he was approachable to children.
