A Day In The Life Of An Unemployed Millenial

    The struggle is real.

You wake up at 11. Technically you woke up at 7 because of a night terror but you fell back asleep after a cool 40 mins. Later.

Before you do anything it’s time sit down and continue re-watching season 1 of Girls. You’re just like Hannah Horvath, but with less pretty friends.

Time for brunch. Looks like it's going to be cheese again. Boy, you really need to buy eggs and bread. Oh well, good enough.

You actually work out for the first time in your life because there’s literally nothing else to do but apply to jobs.

Maybe you can just become a model instead of finding a “real” job.

But you only work out on the stair-climber for 20 mins and then give up.

Time to sit in front of that computer and apply to jobs for the next five hours.

You apply to jobs at a Starbucks, where the employees know your order.

What do a cover letter for a “real job” and an application to Target have in common? They both take a while to finish :/

Meanwhile, the expensive college you went to just emailed you asking for an alumni donation.

Your parents call and you tell them about how you just applied to a “real job” AND Target but they just want to talk about money.

You definitely cry at least once.

    Maybe even once a day.

You told your friend you'd meet for happy hour, to save some cash, you pregame with a 24 oz. can of Steel Reserve.

At happy hour you get a glass of wine so it feels classier.

Then you meet up with your employed friends at The Cheesecake Factory.

They order real meals, you eat the free bread and whatever they don’t finish.

You splurge and get 10 piece chicken nuggets on the way home.

What’s for desert? Oh, just another helping of Girls.

Everything seems really scary right now. But you’ll figure it out like the soon-to-be-employed star that you are.
