I love them so much. So, so much. Also, “fun.” is the name of the band. It's always awkward saying “I love fun.!”

Also, #3 is NBC5 Chicago, so that means that there was a Bears game that day. Just to ruin it for everyone.
And this May, I turn 21! I can buy myself booze now.
Just because it is an expression doesn't mean it's excusable or that it isn't offensive; you can't just eliminate the history of discrimination associated with a word just because we stop using it with the intention of offending or discriminating. I don't necessarily think that the writer is sexist or trying to be demeaning; but that's not what that phrase means now, and he or she should have been more conscious of it's current meaning. And why does it being a blog excuse the use of the phrase? Sure, context is important, but it's a blog from Yahoo!, a media institution, who probably pays the writer and gets profits from people reading the article, and who definitely should be more aware of these kinds of things. Also, why the hell am I making this kind of comment on Sports? Another reason Shift just fails.
If you change public boner to “looks like a public boner (i.e. jean boner)” and maxi pad bulge to “has accidentally made it public she's on her period” then I probably have all of these badges.
It took me a long ass time to realize that you were supposed to assume they were having sex in that second one. Terrible, terrible acting.
Smingus Dyngus! All the Polish people I know who do this don't do the gender divide thing — all the Polish people just throw water at each other.
Was I the only one…?
I wish I was cool enough to understand this :( (and by this I mean the JavaScript.)
I agree — I was so confused by the tone of this article. It seemed to be positive, so I assumed it had to be mocking the service because there was no way in hell any self-respecting person would do half of these things, regardless of gender. But there was no punchline at the end, and there was no mention of even any possible drawbacks to this site/service that it felt more like an advertisement than anything.
