Once again, I come to buzzfeed and expect to see fresh content. Once again, I am disappointed by rehashed 4 year old memes and reheated 4chan copypasta.

Sarcasm is a symptom, not a cause. The cause is that this site just repurposes content from Digg/Twitter/Reddit/2 year old 4chan memes in an attempt to appear original.  Get rid of that, and you'll get rid of a lot of the sarcasm. Banning sarcasm is the equivalent of a 1st grader plugging up his ears saying “NA NA NA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!” But hey, if you guys think you can muster the time and money to sift through all the comments on the site, policing everything like a sarcasm nanny, feel free. I'd like to see how you scale that business model. Sorry, that was just a bit of sarcasm at the end. You know. While it's still allowed.

Seriously - where did you get Joseph Merrick in that at all? Maybe Miss South Carolina was right 'bout them maps. *sigh*

Buzzfeed is pretty much turning into a Reddit front page mirror. Lame.

The James Bond reference actually comes from Austin Powers, I believe. Which I suppose does indirectly relate it to James Bond…
