The Pope Texts
The Pope will be sending daily inspirational text messages to youths during World Youth Day, a six-day event taking place in Sydney. The Catholic church also established a social networking site comparable to Facebook for Catholics, and built digital prayer walls. The church hopes this technology will establish new forums to connect with youths. Maybe it’ll help if he signs his text messages “xoxo BXVI” a la Gossip Girl.
