The NYC Mindspace campaign created MySpace pages of fictional angst-ridden teens in an effort to reach out to New York teenagers struggling with depression, drugs, and violence.
NYC Mindspace, a New York Health Department campaign, is the first program to utilize a social networking site to promote help resources for struggling teens. The fictional teen Mindspace characters have their own MySpace page with pictures, video blog entries, help resources, music downloads, and online quizzes. Sounds like a pretty interesting idea.
