McMahon, like many Americans, is facing foreclosure and bad health…looks like the debt crisis is biting the rich, too. Ed McMahon, best known as Johnny Carson’s sidekick on “The Tonight Show”, has run into some rotten luck as of late. Not only has he suffered a broken neck and the passing of his beloved pup, Muffin, but now he’s out in the cold after defaulting on $4.8 million in mortgage loans.
