Japanese tombstone manufacturer Ishinokoe is selling a tombstone add-on that links visitors to photographs, videos, and biographies of the deceased via mobile phone QR codes. The new technology aims to simplify the organization and accessibility of the deceased’s biographical information. Ishinokoe is in the process of developing a method to virtually visit grave sites.
