    Released as a single which peaked at Number 2 in the US, Surfin' U.S.A then appeared as the title track of their second studio album.

    Fun Fact 1: Despite several of their songs being about surfing, the only Beach Boy that ever surfed was Dennis Wilson.

    Fun Fact 2: The tune is Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen", The Beach Boys had to give him a writing credit to avoid a lawsuit.

    Released as a single in 1964 and was the opening track for their studio album "All Summer Long". It was The Beach Boys' first number one single in the US and their first top 10 Single in the UK (peaking at number 7).

    Fun Fact 1: During the song's recording, Murry Wilson the group's manager and father of members Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson was relieved of his duties after criticising the song and rambling on about how Brian was a loser and that he [Murry] was the only talented one in the family.

    The unique sound heard in the intro was achieved by holding down the keys of a piano and plucking this strings with bobby pins, papers clips and various other things.

    The title came from when Wilson's mother explained to him as a child that dogs sometimes bark at people in response to their bad vibrations.
