21 Reasons Minnesota Is The Craziest State

A south metro father is charged with assaulting his four-week-old daughter.
Tom Ampe, 22, of Savage is out of jail on bail Tuesday night after Scott County charged him with first degree assault.
Prosecutors say his infant girl has more than 50 bone fractures on her ribs, arms, legs and knee. She was four weeks old at the time of her injuries and has Down syndrome.
According to court records, Ampe grew frustrated with his daughter’s crying in July. He admitted in a complaint, to “grabbing arms, wrists, flipping her over,” even squeezing and shaking her several times. Documents say hospital tests revealed 56 bone fractures, and bruising and bleeding on her brain.

Maren W. a year agoIf you really wanted crazy Minnesota stories, you could have done just a bit of research and found, say, Lizard People. Or the self-proclaimed vampire who is a perpetual presidential candidate. As many others have already said, stories of domestic abuse or child abandonment are not at all unique or “crazy.”

This is a ridiculous article. Many of these stories are horrible occurrences relating to suicide and child abuse that, sadly, happen everywhere in the US. To single out Minnesota as being “the craziest state” for events like these is inaccurate and has the effect of minimizing the tragic impact these types of events have on people everywhere.

yup. The whole point of this post is to point out that there are crazy, sick fucks all over this country—not just in Florida! Anybody can make a list like this from ANY state, especially New York.

joeb11 a year agoBuzzFeed: You really need to learn the difference between “wacky” news items (like the explosive sex toy one) and stories about soul-shattering tragedies, specifically stories about children being murdered, abused, raped, mutilated, etc. People who click on stories like this want to read about dumbasses doing stupid, funny shit. They don’t want to read about things that will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
