I don’t get drunk anymore, but I probably still kinda look like Impact on Buzzfeed. Then again, Buzzfeed is part of the Web; the Web is part of the Internet; and the Internet is where Republicans go to express the selfish narcissism, the sheltered ignorance, and the deeply-held prejudices, hatreds, and bigotries that they’re often not comfortable voicing aloud in the physical world. And Impact does seem more suitable for that purpose.

I considered that no one was likely to intuit the intended meaning—but I didn’t really care either. The shirt has served a useful second life as a teaching aid for material on the symbolism of personal artifacts, the processes of meaning making and perception, and self-concept. And I still like that it makes some people laugh while pissing others off.
