You guys are REALLY missing my point.

I understand the history of the word and I am not saying that whites should say it. I’m saying that NO ONE should say it. It shouldn’t be ok for blacks to say it. You don’t see any other race using racist terms to greet each other. A black guy can say “sup, nigga” but if a white guy says it, ALSO in a friendly way, it’s an issue. Basically, it shouldn’t be ok for anyone to say a word that carries so much weight. Like the girl says in the video, you shouldn’t go around saying it, no matter what color skin you have. Now you can continue calling me an idiot, internetz.

No, you’re missing the point. You, as a non-black person, don’t get to tell black people what to do. You inherited a history of your ancestors telling black people what to do and forcing them to do many more things, you’re being an asshole if you continue to think your opinion of what black people should do is so important. If you don’t think it’s right to say it, then don’t say it (though you keep typing one version of the word as if fiiinally you have an excuse to), but you need to sit down on acting like you know more than minorities.

N-word privileges for white people have been revoked, due to historical over use - Lois C.K.
