Dariana a year agoWhat this post fails to tell you though—as an expatriate living in the UK—is how God awfully absurd their theory test is. In the US, you stop at a pedestrian crossing. In the UK, you need to know a pelican crossing, puffin crossing, toucan crossing, and a zebra crossing. I’m not kidding. The difference between a pelican and a puffin is a blinking light. That’s it. Ugh. Even their SIGNS are overly bureaucratic. Also, the previous poster is absolutely correct about Brits thinking 7 hours is crazy long. I lived in NYC so I’m fairly used to commutes (plus I did the whole, ‘oh-let’s-drive-to-FL-in-one-shot’ thing a few times), but my neighbours damn me whenever I say I’m going to drive up to Edinburgh. :-)

thetrendinator a year agoThis was most certainly written by a Brit. However, its wrong. Good attempt, but, not as funny as it should have been. Maybe get Jeremy Clarkson to write the jokes? Not to mention, driving from Scotland to London would be unthinkable to a Brit, as that 7 hour drive is considered unfathomably long, and far!
