Children’s Bank: Indian Street Kids Set Up Bank

A GROUP of street kids in India are showing the leaders of the world’s economy how to do it - by setting up their own successful banking system. There the youngsters - all of whom have to go to school in order to use the facilities - can safely store the small sums they earn from informal jobs. The award-winning scheme is fast helping bring the impoverished into the ‘mainstream’.
