I’m glad someone pointed this out in a little more detail. I’ve read some articles where the Korean men and women state that they aren’t trying to look “westernized” but that they are going for the ideal of beauty in South Korea. Granted that some of the traits are similar to western standards that doesn’t mean that’s the goal. It’s more of a coincidence. Having some traits that are considered western are just the means to an end.

I feel your pain. I play wow and when guys find out I’m a girl when I speak in raid they either insult me or try to hit on me. If you try to reason with them it turns into “get back to the kitchen” or “u mad bro?” Don’t get me started on when I out-perform them in raids. Sad part is a lot of them expect women to be handed to them like prizes because it’s their right.
