The Nerdiest Computer Science Abstract Ever Written
Scheme is a high-level programming language that you’ll probably never encounter short of taking advanced computer science classes. It’s a shame because the Revised Report on the Algorithmic Language Scheme (1986) contains the best academic abstract ever written.
Few abstracts aptly summarize the content of the paper AND pay homage to J. R. R. Tolkien.
