I don’t think the cat is chasing anything, to me it looks terrified, as if trying to escape something… maybe it felt trapped?  That obnoxious laughter is obnoxious.

This made me sad :(

You really can’t feel sorry for a cat that is repeatedly putting itself in water, over and over again, in all reality, the cat seems extremely unfazed by it all. I agree with the other people in here that say this cat was definitely chasing something. As for the people that are freaking out and saying this cat could have killed itself… isn’t that what natural selection is about? I would have been laughing my ass off too at the dumb cat repeatedly putting itself in the water bucket. That isn’t animal cruelty when the stupid animal is doing it to itself. That’s like saying someone climbing a tree and scraping their leg over and over again to reach a fruit they want is phsyical abuse. Also, some cats like water, a lot of people have misconceptions that all cats hate water. I’ve owned enough cats over the years to know this is not true in the least.

I love the kid laughing. Even the kid knows that cats are assholes and that this is funny as a result. It’d be mildly funny if somebody threw the cat in there(come on, it wasn’t going to drown), but with the cat doing it to itself it’s hilarious.

The cat’s not trying to get out of the water per se: it seems to be chasing something outside of the frame, which is why it ends up right back in the water even after it’s already gotten out… in other words - don’t feel bad for the cat, it was just doing its cat-duty trying to kill stuff.

I think he’s trying to get up on something. He should just stop and stay out of the tank. :(

For the life of me I cannot understand how someone could watch this and not help that poor cat; it seriously could have gotten hurt or even killed. F*CK THE GUY FILMING THIS, AND THAT DUMB KID FOR LAUGHING.
