Although most people claim that “there’s an app for everything”, the truth is, I stilll miss some essential ones that would make my life much easier. And everyone knows that apps are supposed to satisfy our inner needs and consequently make us happier. So what are those apps which should’ve already been developed?

The Actormeter

Who’s that actor and where have I seen him before? Tell me. Now.

No, I don’t want to go to IMDB and search for the movie. What if I don’t know which one it is? I just want an incredibly accurate face detector app which tells me exactly who this handsome guy is and where have I seen him before. No, I don’t want the whole filmography, just the movies that I’ve actually seen.

The Hairess

Will I look good with this risky bob or should I just keep my boring yet comfortable hairstyle?

I will not fall again for the zillionth app that just mixes my photo with some celebrity’s hair picture: the result is always awful. I just want a realistic picture from all perspectives which looks totally natural and I could show to the hairdresser. You know what? Throw in a video tutorial which shows exactly how to get that result, better to be safe than sorry.

Why not have an app that scans the dish, checks every ingredient and ellaborates the exact same recipe for you? In addition, it’d be perfect if it automatically purchased those ingredients and sent them to you at home.

Sometimes, when you talk to someone at a party or even in the street or the supermarket, you don't know if they're being nice because they're essentially good people or because they're actually flirting with you. This app would analyze your interlocutor's tone of voice, choice of words and even body language to offer you the ultimate result: YES, he definitely wants to go on a date / NO, he thinks of you like a little sister.
