Seattle based, Aradia is a female electronic-pop singer who performs high energy music with lots of synths and heavy beats. Her recent CD, "Possibilities:Dark" was released this past December with songs that explore our environment, self-discovery and truths. The album is a music journey, with thoughtful lyrics and provocative vocals. Aradia creates an artful performance piece with "Possibilities:Dark" and she is not to be confused with the vacuous music currently filling commercial radio stations.
Her music is strongly influenced by Bjork and Goldfrapp, musically and conceptually. Aradia loves fashion statements and performance based art which is seen through her promo stills, music video and live performance. Although Aradia doesn't have the budget Goldfrapp and Bjork possess she pulls off a DIY style, most times. Other times she teeters on creating costume looks, versus fashion statements. But the music is fun and reflective of her image, so it works.
