That being said…
I read this in seventh grade and remember it being quite a daunting book at the time, so if this gets just one twilight fan to read a well-structured classic that invokes deeper thought processes than “OmG i LuV EDwArD SO MUCh!!!shift1”, I'll have to approve (as hard as that is to say)

This is fantastic, Wuthering Heights is probably the PERFECT book to juxtapose Twilight's airy bubbliness. A supernatural tale of unrelenting human cruelty wrapped in a web of love and jealousy and dread on the desolate moors. I can't wait to see the Twilight fans go from “I'm team Edward” to “Holy fuck what am I doing with my life”
