Which Super Smash Bro Are You?

The Meta Knight made his first appearance 1993’s Kirby Adventure, and has been a mystery ever since. What are his motivations? Is he a good guy? A bad guy? What exactly is going on under that mask? We may never know.

Captain Falcon is always on the cutting edge. He is known more for his recent work in Smash Bros. than his original game, F-Zero. (Which I guess was a racing game? I honestly can’t remember.) His iconic Falcon Punch move makes him favorite for people everywhere.

Pac-Man may be a newcomer to Smash Bros., but he’s been a video game staple since 1980. Pac-Man is old school, and with that experience comes a lot of wisdom. People who play Pac-Man have been around the block a few times, and know their way around a brawl.

See that scarf Greninja is wearing? Yeah, that’s actually his tongue. Pretty gross, but also sort of bad ass? Like, he’s just putting his tongue out there, exposed to the elements and everything else. No big deal. I guess that takes some guts.

Charizard is everyone’s favorite pokémon, and will likely become everyone’s favorite Smash Bro. brawler as well. Charizard has been a staple of the series, but SSB4 will be his first shot at the big leagues as a stand-alone playable character.

Yoshi has been around since the heydays of the series. Once a mere mount for Mario, Yoshi is now his own dinosaur, with his own hopes and ambitions. In Smash Bros., Yoshi is a capable brawler who can hang with the best of them. Always a good option.

Sheik is a bit of a cheat, since it’s actually just Princess Zelda in disguise, and she’s already a possible result for this personality quiz, so it’s like she’s just trying to increase her chances of being selected, but we’ll put that aside for now. Sheik is as fast as greased lightning, and as such, is always a great pick.

Little Mac made his first appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but will now be featured as a playable character, and it’s been a long time coming. It’s a series about Nintendo characters beating the tar out of one another, and it took this long to include the iconic boxer?

There’s a reason the games are named after Zelda and not Link, and that reason is that Zelda is a bad ass who is totally capable of handling herself in almost any situation.

Sonic is a nod to those kids you knew growing up who insisted their Sega Genesis was way better than your NES or SNES. Actually, if you got Sonic, there’s a sold chance that you WERE that kid. If that’s the case, I hope you realize now the error of your ways.

Peach may look harmless, with her pink gown and parasol, but she’s as capable as any other brawler out there. She’s been around since the Gamecube days, so maybe she’s already a favorite of yours, or maybe this is your first brawl with Peach. Either way, you’re in good hands.

Ah, Luigi. The perennial favorite of little brothers everywhere. Back in the bad old days of Smash Bros. Luigi was an unlockable character, and was essentially just Mario with a new skin, but he’s since really grown into his own character.

The Wii Fit Trainer is a newcomer to the series, but she already shows a ton of promise. Her moves are all based on exercise moves and cardio programs, so it’ll feel like you’re keeping fit while you play. Skip the gym!

Mega Man! How did it take this long to add Mega Man to the Super Smash Bros. series? The years haven’t been kind to him, but Mega Man is as awesome as he always has been. The Blue Bomber is sure to become a fan favorite in this and future Smash Bros. games.

The ubiquitous Villager has finally left the soft shores of Animal Crossing and made his way to Smash Bros. He comes equipped with a big net, which doesn’t seem all that threatening, but you’d be surpassed. Behind that innocent smile is a cold-blooded brawler.

Pit has been around since the bad old days of the NES, but only recently made him way back into the hearts and minds of the video game playing public. He’s got wings, which is pretty cool. You’d be a lot cooler if you had wings.

Bowser is great, if you’re the type of person who doesn’t like to think too hard about button combos or dodging enemy attacks. He’s big and tough, and takes a certain amount of patience to play well.

Pikachu has been around for every Smash Bros. game from the very beginning, and may would say that he’s their go-to character. He’s tried and true, and maybe not the most adventurous choice of brawlers, but he’s perennial favorite for a reason.

Fox has been around forever, and for good reason. He’s awesome. he’s like the best of all worlds. Agile, strong, quick – he does a little bit of everything pretty well. You can’t go wrong with Fox.

Kirby sucks. GET IT?! CAUSE HIS POWER IS TO SUCK PEOPLE UP AND TAKE THEIR POWERS! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Samus is a classic of the Smash Bros. franchise. She’s been a fan favorite forever, and that’s not going to change in the new games. Also, I don’t know if you heard, but it turns out that Samus is ACTUALLY A WOMAN! (You probably heard.)

Listen, Link is great, but you already know that. He’s been there from the very beginning, so you know exactly what you’re going to get when you play as Link.

Donkey Kong is an old stand-by. He’s been a heavy hitter since the first days of Super Smash Bros. He’s the perfect brawler for those times when it’s on like… well, you know.

Classic. Mario is as tried and true as brawlers come. All around, he’s a great option. He’s pretty good at almost everything. Good on you, Mario. Good on you.
