I just moved into a new home and brought all my books here. They are stacked in boxes in my garage. Looking at them today I thought, I’ve got to get rid of at least half -its out of control. Now I’m thinking, no it’s not.
Wow! What a buzz just looking through them. I have always wanted to see the Bodleian Library (18) but I would love to sit in the Hearst Castle library (25), not only for the books but to absorb that architecture.
#2 is like most places in Venice - pretty, but foul-smelling. Everything in there is damp and rotting, and its disorganised to the point of inaccessibility. But the rest of these are beautiful! (Though #13 might have similar problems.)
