Makes sense. It’s supporting a horrifically unhealthy relationship. In Twighlight, he’s an old stalker who talks about how he wants to abuse her. In Scott Pilgrim, she’s a drama magnet who is either attracted to jerks or turns her others into jerks. In both there are red flags all over the place screaming “DON’T DATE THIS PERSON.”

Actually I know a lot of dudes who call Scott Pilgrim a “girls comic”.

Yes, great writing and a great story is equal to sparkly vampires anyday…I hate this woman.
