Nolan said he wants to use a character that hasn't been in a Batman movie before. Therefore, not the Riddler.

In my opinion the best person to play the Riddler is Alan Tudyk, hands down

Thats a good actor choice. You gotta remember, the Riddler is a paralell of Batman, contrary to the polar opposite of The Joker. The Riddler is a completely self involved ego maniac who thinks he's the smartest man alive. Batman, for all of this gadgets and ninja training, is the natural contridiction of the Riddler. Its like the brainest nerd in school getting no recognition over the super popular jock who also has a 4.0 gpa. The Riddler simply wants to top a natural enemy. Thats why the Riddler was obsessed with learning the identity of Batman. To learn his most guarded secret would be worse than physically defeating Batman.

i cant take Rainn Wilson seriously…his funny and all but do you think he could handle this huge role….

The fact that Clayface is mentioned makes me skeptical. Unless they rejig the character to just be a master of disguise, I don't see someone with actual super powers getting thrown in to Nolan's Batman universe.
