I remember buying packs and praying to almighty god I didn’t get the teeth one.
I could stand the sad children and the statistics,
but those teeth… .

I think it’s a great idea. Sure, it won’t stop a lot of people, or those already smoking. But it might help keep people from starting to smoke, which is the biggest key. Once you start it’s tough to stop (and this applies to drinking, drugs, eating badly, etc. as well).

we’ve got this in australia. they are all real photos of people with the illnesses, or little skinny babies who are born all fucked up. i dont know if it works though. im a non-smoker so i can’t really weigh in.

the gov should just regulate the amount of chemicals and additives in cigs. if i wanted to create a new product that has the same chemicals and was designed to make you addicted, it wouldn’t be allowed.  the cig lobbying groups are super powerful and get away with murder.

Humans have a knack for not seeing or ignoring things that disgust them. Its a survival instinct. This didnt work in Canada.. Or in front of Abortion clinics too.

yeah this has been going on for a while in Canada, and from what I can see, it really hasn’t diminished the use or sales of cigarettes…

I like the illustrated ones, a lot. It’s just some of the other ones are a bit much, and I don’t want my son getting scared when he picks my pack up to take a cigarette. He’s only 5.

You should see the images on Canada’s smokes. Like dead lungs and gross teeth and the like.
