TOASTY!

This has to be quite an interesting take upon the representation of the mortal kombat characters..making them seem of real. But it makes me wonder..what of all the special abilities of fighters..? I see with Baraka they kept the blade..but..I don’t know it seems too realistic. I still want to see it.

This is not a new movie…not yet, anyway. From Jeri Ryan’s twitter: “Okay, so… Mortal Kombat. It actually was made for the director to sell WB on his vision for a reimagined MK film. I did it as a favor to a friend. No idea yet what WB’s reaction to it was. And I’m not sure how you can contact WB to push them to make it. But you guys are resourceful…! ;-)”

For those who are wondering, Warner Brothers have been producing a reboot of the franchise, but have been problems obtaining the rights from the makers of the original films. This video appeared relatively mysteriously today, with no studios claiming responsibility and no branding or credits. But, given the production value, and appearances from relatively well-known actors, most think it is related to the Warner Brothers reboot.
