Look, BuzzFeed, it's one thing to post these videos because people are talking about them already, but to even pretend this is real in the description is first misleading and, after we see the video itself, just plain insulting.

1. Do people really require their live-in partners to buy and eat their own food? Because that's the only reason why someone would confront a partner about missing food..and they'd still be a bit of a dick. 2. He suspects there's someone in their apartment but decides to sleep there anyway and get up in the middle of the night in the dark unprotected and absolutely unphased by a possible mysterious presence. 3. She watches the TV and spends an absurd amount of time banging away in the kitchen??

That's really creepy, but I guess when you're really desperate for food and a place to crash, you do what you have to do.

Pretty sure this is fake… I heard a similar (true) story about a woman in Japan I think. This is too staged and perfect… she wouldn't be so loud and slow about it!

I went to college with this kid. I didn't really know him so I'm not sure if this is fake or not. Regardless this vid scared the hell out of me when I was alone in my apartment.

ZOMG, I am immediately going home and checking to see if there is a homeless woman living in my apartment, too. Holy crap.

1) Where does she poop?
2) That hole is tiny. You'd see her every single day leaving for school/work. Or going to the kitchen. This is pure fail.

This seemed fake to me as well. As another person said, it was him getting up in the middle of it that clinched it. Googling has failed me, but I remember seeing a story a few years ago about people who would stake out large suburban houses here in America and basically live in their attics. I point this out because I've always found the phrase “only in New York” to be obnoxious and a bit parochial.
