Why do people always comment “Who?” with stories like this one? It just makes the person commenting seem out of touch. No offense, but this woman is fairly well known.

Celebrity Buzz Lily Allen announced today on her blog that she would not be renewing her recording contract and would no long be producing new albums or touring. The announcement comes only a week after she founded a new website devoted to anti-piracy that has been getting a lot of attention (both positive and negative) in the music world.

Huh.. but she's still doing concerts…..douchette
I misread this with another article and have been telling people she's going to do porn. This sounds more plausible.
Im not making any more music…wah!
She shouldn't give up on pop music. She does it with style. Acting is fine too.
We should be so lucky
Tragic.
Yaaaaaawnnnnn!
Man, melodramatic much?
Good for her. I'm sure she'll make more money not making music at all.
I can't tell if she's hot or not. Thus, I have no opinion on this matter. Good day.
Dammit, I was going to write “who?”

Who?
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Please tell me this is a publicity stunt. PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A PUBLICITY STUNT!! I love Lily!! Quick, everyone go buy her albums!!!!!!!
too good to be true
Excellent. Now she can get on with her real life's work of being a pathetic little zero.
If she can't make a profit selling song as she claims, then maybe she's doing it wrong… or needs to audit her bookkeeper!
Good. Someone saying it's good to cut off internet access for regular uploaders, but at the same time posting mixtapes with illegally obtained music on her official EMI controlled site to further her own career is the most blatant show of hypocrisy I've seen in a long time.
Good.
