I mean, it's fine. His music is mediocre at this moment in time, but the video is stunning. He's actually moving into being a real artist, whether people like it or not (which doesn't really matter because we're all still gonna watch). He's not far off the mark from other contemporary artists in terms of how he approaches so many projects and works with so many filmmakers, photographers, designers, etc. That doesn't mean that he's the “best” artist — or even a good one — or that anyone has to like him, but he IS an artist and the video is aesthetically strong. So everyone can chill out. Like… he's over the top; so is every other person on the internet. I dunno why some people are acting like this is THE WORST VIDEO OF ALL TIME.

Umm, so I kind of love it. The music is great, and the cinematography is surprisingly impressive. I mean, the ballerinas? That was freaking beautiful.

It's just artistic expression. A hip-hop artist using his considerable resources to express himself through another medium. No one liked van Gogh either, NOT that I'm comparing the two. Just saying artistic interpretation shouldn't be influenced by the artist's personality. There's a line in “power” where he says something about how anyone can pick up a camera and make a viral. He's just practicing what he preaches in his music.
