The Werribee Open Range Zoo in Melbourne has introduced a new exhibit that essentially simulates a lion attack. It's supposed to be authentic and exhilarating, but it looks terrifying to me.
Zoo visitors sit in a safari jeep, which has been baited with raw meat to get the lion as close as possible.
The huge lion stands on the jeep and eats the meat as visitors look on.
It's all done with the help of an old jeep that has been bisected by a thick pane of safety glass, creating a convincing illusion.

It's all a scam to move that old stockpile of souvenir underwear in the gift shop.
