Yeah, what was up with that guy's demo being on CASSETTE?!? My guess is he's trying to be “hipper-than-thou” by doing a throwback thing to the cassette era. Bet he uses an 8 inch floppy drive too!

Does Henry have a chip on his shoulder? Sure.
Does he have a right to feel that way? Absolutely. Thirty years ago Henry Rollins was at the forefront of a youth movement and he honestly thought they could change the world. In this video he confronts the spiritual descendants of that movement, and what are they? Slaves to fashion, snobs, drinking up mommy and daddy's money. Henry has every right to be pissed off because the generations that followed his pulled on tight pants, grew stupid moustaches and hoisted the White Flag as high as they could.

All I can say is, even 24 years later, Rollins still rocks my fucking world. Way to hand that trendy fuck a fistful of “shut the fuck up”.

Rollins is great! Those women are so what is annoying about hipsters, I'm glad he went and spoke to them…they wanted his attention and got it…also, she's super defensive and not cool under the lights (odd for someone who wants attention), what he said about over tatoo'd trustfunders didn't sound directed at her…now if he said dirty looking skank…actually aside from him and his guest…the people in there all seemed to fit that bill

I guess ol' Hank doesn't work out anymore. Workin' out tends to release all that tension. If I'm wrong, and he is indeed still working with his iron, then he is one coiled up motherfucker and maybe needs some medication. Or his ass whooped to gain some perspective and humility. All the same, I doubt those chicks were REALLY wanting to start shit with him, but were instead just nervous and a little drunk.

I like Damaged and The Henry Rollins Show as much as the next guy, but what a grump. I've heard him talk a lot of shit about electronic music too. Rollins is a smart dude but he's always had a big jock asshole side.

I have no idea what to think about this….
