This is one of the things that happens when you allow foreign nationals to own a major media presence in your country. Murdoch doesn't care about the fate of this nation. He doesn't have a love for the constitution, or any of the institutions we consider part of our heritage and birthright. Rupert Murdoch makes more money when there are events to report and divisions to explain. He also makes more money when easily purchased, empty suits hold office—and that's why Fox backs the Republicans.
