I weep for the future.

This is freaking depressing.

The 7th one infuriates me. It’s one of many many why the rest of the country should have no say in whether or not this mosque is built. Times Square is no where near Ground Zero. Aside from general stupidity people who aren’t from here don’t understand what it’s like to live here and therefore have absolutely no right to say what should or should not be built here. A lot can happen in four blocks in this city (though even if it were right on top of the site it wouldn’t fucking matter).
If you’re not from here shut your fucking mouth. (I’m also talking to you Sarah Palin and Harry Reid)

Yes, these people are idiots, but a large part of it is the right wing’s propaganda which has been proliferating this kind of bullshit. It was Fox that insisted Obama wasn’t a U.S. citizen, Fox that accused him of being a muslim, and Fox that has associated all of Islam with their radical extremist groups, even when the people they’re accusing are shareholders in their company! So, I argue, instead, that they’re GULLIBLE. After all, what do you expect from a bunch of people who believe in the teachings of a magical zombie jew whose flesh they consume on a weekly basis?

This is why I want a form of education reform.
