This is no worse than the article posted a few days ago with the title 'alcohol saved my life'. Yet everyone seemed to think that was the funniest thing ever? When I posted my objection to that article, everyone and their brother told me to either not take it so seriously or get lost. Even after I described how a guy I knew who literally believed that alcohol could do no wrong suffered a much worse fate than just a bloody nose. And yet for this article everyone is reacting with disapproval and disgust. What gives? Is this some kind of double standard? Both were making light of abuse - alcohol abuse on the one hand and spousal abuse on the other.
