Drone footage, taken by SoutheasternAerial, shows the damage to Bessemer, Ala., where a tornado tore through during Monday's severe weather outbreak.
The footage, uploaded on Tuesday to YouTube, shows the destructive line of the tornado, which went through a treed area and eventually through an apartment complex.
Drone journalism, such as this and others, has become extremely popular in recent months, but is being called into question by the FAA, who wants to regulate such acts.
The investigation by the FAA has some raising serious First Amendment questions as to whether the agency has the right to restrict press freedom.
