I hate that the calorie aspect of this article is distracting from the real point of clean eating. They’re portraying it as a fad diet, a temporary way to lose weight. Actual clean eating is a lifestyle change, long-term. Weight loss is often accompanied with the switch, which is to be expected when you’re cutting out heavy processed foods, but I don’t think that it should be the primary focus. If you’re truly eating healthy, I think calorie counting is silly - just nourish your body when you need to, with foods that actually make you feel good!
