I remember growing up, there was this “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” like PSA I saw that had the Ninja Turtles, WB characters Disney characters and so many others. I 6, I think, and never have I wanted to do so many drugs as I did immediately after watching it. I would have gotten to hang with Scooby AND Michelangelo? Gimme all your drugs dealers!

The Turtles are such hypocrites. Between the “dude-speak” and the insatiable hunger for pizza, they are cartoondom’s most obvious weedheads outside of Shaggy and Scooby.

It’s been ages since I had a spliff - these just make me want to score. Not working (but amusing) adverts.

Number four was so. fucking. funny. to us back in the day, in that unique way that only overwrought drug PSAs can be. My husband and I still use “I LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU!,” at appropriate moments, most recently when we introduced a litter of kittens we were fostering, with their mother, to catnip. I searched for, but could not find, the late 90s or early 00s marijuana PSA that implied that if you smoked weed, you would do nothing but sit on the couch and eat doughnuts. What a horrible fate. (Sorry to say, I found the stuff made me anxious…I have a weird non-standard brain.)
