Oh, even before I clicked on it, I had a feeling this was the Frayser I knew. Growing up in Memphis, Frayser was always known as the white-trash capital of the whole Midsouth. All our redneck jokes began, “So this guy from Frayser…”

These kids need to know you do NOT have to put out to be special or loved. Love yourselves 1st.
These kids can not be that stupid to think that they will produce a child that will unconditionally love them! Uhhh duhhhh look at your relationship with your parents??? Most teens hate their parents and yet they think they can be loved by their child they are now bringing into a world that is totally fucked.
KEEP THE LEGS CLOSED!!! and if you are going to put it out there use condoms and birth control!!!
Sex is to be enjoyed and bring people together. Today sex is just a game and the prize is more unwanted children.

They’re Humans. Procreation is their deepest drive. Promoting abstinence is like promoting dehydration .Creating situations where 90 babies are born into extreme poverty needs to be seen as a greater sin than having honest conversations about human sexuality or we’re doomed.

This is such a shame. I hate to be a pessimist and sound like a republican, but nearly 100% of these kids were eligible for free or reduced lunches so guess who is footing the bill for these 90 new babies?  How many millions of dollars are these babies going to cost us when a simple program in school targeting these kids and the unique issues they are dealing with (poverty, obviously, but likely also rampant crime and probably gangs and drugs and so many other issues that poor communities face so often) and relating to them honestly about sex and providing condoms…instead, we have failed these kids. I’m really upset about this.

…or you could just teach them about condoms.

The video doesn’t say Frayser used abstinence-only education, though I’d be surprised if their sex education courses are anywhere near satisfactory.

Yay for fundies! Keep up the good work. I wonder how many of the people supporting programs like abstinence only were once teen parents themselves. I mean, the Christian conservative base is apparently breeding much faster than the rest of us. I wonder what goes through their minds: “Well, it worked for us!”

Memphis, Birthplace of the Blues. And assuming an equal number of boys and girls in the school, this means 22 percent of the girls, not just 11 percent of the students, right?
