Way to throw the truth in at the very end. Here’s a bit more then that eye candy: The stirrup was a game changer in modern civilization. Mongolians are credited for the most early use, around 300 AD. Wars were won or lost over this new apparatus. The soldier needed to wear a heeled shoe to properly use the stirrup to his advantage. As much as I complain about heels, sometimes going on feminist rants over them….I love to break them out on occasion. And then I love to take them off and put on a pair of flats. Put me on a horse? I’m wearing my riding boots WITH a decent heel.
