Yeah, those Aussies are pretty cute. Lots of trouble too, especially when they double up on you.
April wedding in DC in 2011: 1. Used same large floral arrangements for both church and reception. It was Lent, so church could not be decorated longer than our wedding, and we did not have to donate. Florist transported flowers at no extra cost. Also used her vases for no extra cost, unless any broke or were stolen.
2. Had my cathedral length veil custom made by an Esty member for $80.
3. Hosted rehearsal dinner at our house. Only paid for catering. Handled set up and tear down ourselves.
4. Hand made basically everything paper other than the invites, which came from a discount online store.
5. And the biggest saving was on the reception space. We had it at a dinner and dancing club, so there was a sound system, dance floor, lighting, chef, wait staff, bar, tables, chairs, linens, etc. all included in the per person price of the reception. That’s where the price hits the roof in the DC area—rentals of everything other than the space. Save money and go to a place where everything is included, but is more interesting and cheaper than a hotel.
Response to The Definitive Ranking Of Dog Breeds:
Might want to double check your pictures on Sheltie and Collie. They might be mixed up. The Collie picture looks like a Sheltie, and vice versa. I know they’re close, but differences exist. I’ve owned both. A collie has a wider face, and a sheltie has a shelf at the point of the eyes, from the forehead to the nose. The collie has no shelf. Also, it’s very clear the authors live in a large city. This ranking is very small-breed-focused.
Next, Buzzfeed, can you do a story on how the amount allowed of each of those “gross” things goes up when the food you’re buying is labeled “organic”? The FDA allows many more rat pellets in organic cereal than normal cereal.
Churubusco, IN has “Turtle Days”, which is a week long festival to celebrate a legendary giant turtle that a farmer claims to have seen in the lake behind his farm. Can’t get weirder than a festival celebrating a drunk farmer’s hallucination. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beast_of_Busco
#6 Also, people who think Frodo Baggins is Bilbo Baggins.
#15 Notasmooth collie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smooth_Collie
