I think that people have the right to fly this flag if they so choose. To me it’s a symbol of slavery and treason, which makes it hard for me to understand why it’s a symbol of “pride” for some. It should not be flown at any Federal or State buildings, monuments, etc. though.
I was making purple jell-o when I was about 13 or 14 years old. I mixed everything in the pyrex bowl but the jell-o didn’t seem to be dissolving. Stupidly, I decided to put the pyrex bowl directly onto the stove and on direct heat. After a few minutes, while I was stirring the jell-o the bowl blew up in my face. Thankfully I was unharmed, but I frantically started throwing the shards of pyrex in the trash and cleaning up the purple mess. Too bad my mom walked in on me during the clean up process. For about 10 yrs that burner on the stove didn’t work, and I have been teased by my family and friends that I can’t even manage to make jell-o.
