Film Gets Young Women To Speak Up About Sex
“I always felt really, really guilty about it, but I kept doing it. So really, how guilty can you feel?”
The makers of the documentary Subjectified got nine young women of all different backgrounds — from moms to abstinent virgins — to share their thoughts on sex, body image, childbirth, and much more. The interviews are strikingly honest. Below, the women talk about a subject that’s often kept pretty private: masturbation (contains some explicit language, but no explicit images).

abigaild3 5 months agoI hate how women feel like they have to say they don’t masturbate. I have so many friends that swear they have never done it which is total bullshit. This idea that we should be ashamed with our bodies and what we do with them annoys me. I am interested in seeing this and seeing the divide in opinions, and hope this allows women to see that it is not such a dirty, taboo act.
