If I just had $50k laying around I'd clone my family dog… because she is so very clever and well behaved and loving. She was a pound rescue so I can say I did that part at least. It's the best possible solution to getting a dog that behaves in the exact manner of the previous dog.

My kitty died last week and I can totally see how a grieving pet parent would do this. I can also see how getting a shelter pet and making a donation would be a benefit to the pet world as a whole though.
